We service the gas and pellet appliances we sell, and most we didn't: annual inspections and tune-ups, pilots and ignition, blowers and remotes, glass, augers and feed motors, and the full annual deep clean. A chimney sweep, for masonry fireplaces, stoves, inserts, and prefabs, books the same way on its own visit.
Every visit is the same NFI and CSIA certified pro who installs our fireplaces, and it ends with a plain-English rundown of exactly what we saw.

What does a gas fireplace service visit cost?
It depends on what the unit needs. A routine tune-up is quick and priced accordingly, and we'll tell you before any repair work starts. The best move is booking early fall, before the seasonal rush.
My fireplace won't light. What should I check first?
The wall switch and the breaker, honestly — you'd be surprised. After that, don't keep cycling it; note what it does (clicks, sparks, nothing) and tell us when you book. Knowing the symptom saves you a second visit.
Do you service fireplaces you didn't sell?
Yes, happily. Most of our long-term customers met us on a service call for a unit somebody else installed.
How often does a pellet stove really need service?
A serious clean every season, ideally before the first fire. If you burn budget pellets with high ash, mid-season attention pays for itself in heat output.
Do pellet stoves work during a power outage?
Not without a battery backup. The auger and blowers need electricity. If outage heat is the goal, ask us about wood stoves; that's exactly the education session we love giving.
