What Makes It Special The logs are handcrafted from real wood , with LED lighting inside that pulses like burning embers. Behind them, a partially frosted acrylic panel makes the flames appear to rise from within the logs, and you get a full-depth view of the firebox— you see the fire, not the room reflected back at you . The Mood-Maker remote lets you set the flame’s color and brightness from the couch , and you can run the flames with or without heat—a fire in July costs you the flames, not a sweltering room. The herringbone brick backer wraps the firebox on three sides, so the fire sits in a finished scene, not a black box. When you do want warmth, the fan-forced heater is rated to warm up to 1,000 square feet —enough to carry the room the fireplace lives in and then some.
