Flames rise from within Realogs—logs handcrafted from real wood with LED light pulsing inside them, the way embers glow inside a burning log —set against a herringbone brick backer. The flame panel is partially frosted acrylic, so you see fire rather than your lamp reflected in glass, and you can look clear through the flames to the brick behind them. Flames and heat run separately. On a warm evening, run the flames alone and use the remote to set the light color and intensity to match the mood. When it turns cold, the fan-forced heater warms up to 1,000 square feet—enough to hold the room you’re actually sitting in while the furnace idles.
