What Makes It Special Instead of bouncing its flames off a mirror, the Revillusion flame effect plays them across a partially frosted acrylic panel, so the fire appears to rise from within the logs —and you can see clear through it to the weathered concrete backer behind. The logs themselves are Realogs, handcrafted from real wood , with inner LED lights that pulse like a bed of live coals. Up close is where most electric flames fall apart; this one is built for up close. It’s also a real heater. The fan-forced heater warms up to 1,000 square feet —a living room and then some—and the flame runs without the heat, so the fire is there on a July evening too. The Mood-Maker remote adjusts the light color and intensity from the couch.
