What Makes It Special The viewing area is the whole story: over four feet wide and more than two feet tall , with flame height to fill it. Napoleon designed the taller flames to come without added fuel consumption, so the bigger fire doesn’t mean burning more gas to get it. MIRRO-FLAME porcelain panels line the firebox and reflect the flames back at you, so the fire looks even deeper and fuller than the glass suggests— a focal point, not a window into one . Lighting is part of the design. Top lights illuminate the fire from above, and the ember bed light can be set to any color you can think of from the included eFIRE app—along with on/off, flame height, and blower speed. The remote is in the box too, so nobody has to get up to change the mood. If a TV or artwork is going above it, the optional Dynamic Heat Control system lowers the wall temperature without a fan —quietly—so heat-sensitive things can hang where you want them.
